Remote Sensing
Role
Select an area of the city of Louisville use recent four band aerial imagery (red, green, blue, near IR), a different community can be selected if four band aerial imagery is available. The area selected must be approved by your instructor prior to beginning the case study and should be the same location as used in the Sanborn Mapping project. Send to your instructor the cross streets to be used in the project. There is no need to send the actual map. At least six discrete classifications are required. The designer should draw conclusions about the area and may be compared with the digitized Sanborn map. The classification of the aerial image must use the near Infrared, red and green bands.
Problem
The problem is to analysis land features in the selected area to be classified.
